Price list

The price of surgical interventions varies according to their complexity and the types of prostheses used. It includes all expenses related to hospitalization and other materials.

Inguinal hernia

The proper treatment for inguinal hernia is always a surgical intervention, as it is the only procedure capable of ensuring a complete healing process. The surgery involves returning the contents of the eventration to the abdomen and repairing the defect by using a synthetic prosthesis, also known as a mesh.

Fee: between 1400 – 1700 Euros

Femoral hernia

The surgery involves returning the contents of the eventration to the abdomen and repairing the defect by using a synthetic prosthesis, also known as a mesh.

Fee: between 1400 – 1700 Euros

Umbilical hernia

The proper treatment for inguinal hernia is always a surgical intervention, as it is the only procedure capable of ensuring a complete healing process.

Untreated, the umbilical hernia tends to enlarge and develop complications such as strangulation, intestinal occlusion and skin ulcers.

Fee: between 1200 – 1800 Euros

Hiatal hernia

The operative indication is established together with the gastroenterologist, not all cases of hiatal hernia require surgical intervention. For symptomatic cases that do not respond to treatment, surgery is the only viable alternative.

Fee: between 2000 – 3000 Euros

Other hernias

For other types of hernia such as spigelian and linea alba hernia, the price may vary between 1200 and 1500 Euros.

Incisional hernias

Incisional hernias are defects of the anterolateral abdominal wall, which appear in areas that have become weakened as a result of other surgical interventions, trauma, or after other minimally invasive procedures. These defects can be located immediately under older scars or in their immediate vicinity.

The price may vary between 1500 and 4000 Euros depending on each type of eventration and prosthesis required.

Parastomal hernia

The surgical intervention for parastomal hernia is performed under general anesthesia and usually lasts between 60 to 180 minutes. The operation is performed the day after hospitalization due to the need for mechanical and antibiotic preparation of the intestine. The duration of hospitalization can extend up to 2-4 days postoperatively.

Diastasis recti or abdominal separation

The treatment is generally surgical in nature, in early cases, physiotherapy is useful to some extent. Laparoscopic plication surgery is minimally invasive, ensuring quick recovery and a very pleasing aesthetic result.

The surgical intervention is most often done under general anaesthesia, discharge from the hospital being possible the day after the operation or, in certain cases, on the day of the operation.
